I specialize in supporting college students as they navigate academic pressure, identity exploration, relationships, and life transitions. College can be an exciting but overwhelming time, and therapy offers a space to slow down, reflect, and build skills that support both mental health and personal growth. I work best with undergraduate and graduate students who are motivated to understand themselves better, develop coping skills, and make meaningful changes during their college journey.

I work with neurodivergent adults experiencing burnout from overfunctioning and masking. Many of my clients manage competing responsibilities while coping with anxiety, depression, relational conflict, and the lasting impact of trauma. Many are BIPOC adults from immigrant communities exploring intersecting identities and cultural expectations. I offer therapy in English and Spanish and strive to create a supportive, culturally responsive space where clients feel understood. Together, we focus on developing practical strategies to support meaningful change that can be sustained long after therapy ends.

When life feels unpredictable or overwhelming, therapy offers a space to pause and find your footing. Let’s be honest, going to therapy can be a little intimidating. I know what you are thinking, “what would speaking to a shrink do for me? I have so much on my mind, it will take more than a few sessions to unleash everything.” Well…I got time AND passion. I believe that as human beings living in our present society, we are conditioned to put our needs aside and we frequently forget how to take care of ourselves. As your therapist, I am strongly devoted to assisting you in tackling life challenges, managing problems, and coming out stronger than ever because YOU are capable. My approach to therapy is to use a strength based perspective, CBT and create an unapologetic space for my client. I want my client to feel they don't need to sugar coat anything in sessions because I truly believe transparency will open up my client's full potential to self-discovery and personal growth. I know taking this next step is scary AND brave. Imagine yourself opening up to possibilities you only dreamt of and finally being in control over your life and happiness. Let's work together to build that dream by tackling those negative thought distortions and create new perspectives in order to create your new reality.

I believe everyone has a vision for the life they want to be living and that often times people have difficulty achieving and making their vision a reality. In my work as a psychotherapist I help people develop their own capacities, skills, and inner resources, so they can address their problems, and live a more satisfying life. People often come to therapy to deal with situations and problems that have effected their sense of self and their sense of safety and left them struggling to navigate their lives and relationships. People benefit from and need to be able to heal from the negative ways their pasts have impacted them. I welcome the opportunity to support and guide you on your journey of self-discovery and change, by actively engaging in the process of psychotherapy with you. Some of the problems people come to me with include stress, family and relationship problems, LGBTQ+ and sexual identity issues, anxiety, depression, histories of trauma, and more. I look forward to working with you in your therapy.
