With five years of social work experience, including three years providing psychotherapy, I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who works with children, adolescents, young adults, women, and families. I’m dedicated to helping patients navigate the lasting effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other experiences that leave people feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. At the center of my practice is the belief that every individual is the expert on their own life, one that continues to help me be a compassionate partner in your journey toward healing, growth, and self-acceptance. I look forward to creating a space together where you feel safe to explore challenges, celebrate growth, and discover the strengths that already exist within you. My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-based, incorporating mindfulness practices to support healing and personal growth. It's also warm, person-centered, and collaborative, grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. Building a genuine, personalized connection with each person I work with is something I'm passionate about, because feeling safe, supported, and empowered makes all the difference. In practice, that means drawing on a range of approaches tailored to your unique goals and strengths. These include person-centered therapy, trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, these tools help you build insight, strengthen self-compassion, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are flexible by design; our work takes the shape you need it to. From a young age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to supporting and connecting with others. Throughout grade school, teachers often described me as empathetic and compassionate – qualities that, in time, pointed me clearly toward a career in mental health. In college, I discovered a passion for psychology and the opportunity to better understand the complexities of human behavior. That curiosity led me to pursue my Master of Social Work, deepening my understanding of the ways mental health, life experiences, relationships, and larger systems shape our well-being. These experiences strengthened my commitment to and passion for personalized care, and confirmed what I'd believed for a long time: that healing happens best in a space that feels warm, collaborative, and genuinely yours. Now, I bring this same curiosity, compassion, and respect for your unique story to every session. When I'm not in session, you'll often find me listening to a mystery or psychological thriller audiobook, crocheting, or spending an afternoon in a nearby park with my favorite salty snack — chips and dip or cheese and crackers, to be specific. At home, I'm endlessly entertained by my two cats: Penny, a tortie, and Ozzy, an orange tabby. Discovering new movies and TV shows is another favorite pastime, and I'm always happy to talk about my love of food!

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor, my passion is in collaborating with clients to help strengthen their personal strategies and to find a life worth living. I believe that with the right tools and motivation, my clients are able to manage the difficulties that life has given them. Clients learn to trust themselves and develop ways to learn coping skills and increase their sense of self-worth through continued practice in our sessions. The idea to go into psychology was sparked by my own experiences with depression, grief, interpersonal conflicts, and trauma. In college, I went to a therapist and learned to cope with the challenges that I had been facing since my adolescence. As a result, I was completely enamored with learning about how the mind works and why people behave the way they do. I believe that with my own personal experiences, I can create a safe and non-judgmental environment for my clients, so that they may grow and heal. In my practice, I utilize an integrative approach, and holistic, person oriented theories. I am certified in Dialectical behavioral therapy and specialize working with personality disorders, interpersonal difficulties, trauma, and work with other mental health conditions as well.
As a social worker and psychotherapist with 8 years of experience, I offer collaborative, open, and nonjudgmental care for people interested in coming into deeper relationships with their full selves. I particularly enjoy working with caregivers, artists, neurodivergent individuals, LGBTQ+ folks, and creative people who are navigating questions about identity, relationships, and belonging. Many come to therapy burdened by beliefs that stem from systemic oppression, trauma, or early relational experiences. They may struggle with anxiety, self-doubt, dissociation, or the pressure to care for others at the expense of themselves. They’re looking for a space where they can slow down, tune-in, and make sense of their inner world. Their goals may include building more authentic relationships, developing greater self-compassion, and finding ways to live and create in a more full and embodied way. If this resonates with your search for greater mental wellness, please reach out today. I look forward to building a connection as your honest and participatory partner, embarking on this journey together through a systems-based and anti-oppressive lens tailored to your unique strengths and desires for change. I offer a therapeutic holding environment grounded in careful listening, curiosity, and the shared messiness and delight of being human. My work is relational and psychodynamic, meaning we explore how past and present relationships shape our emotional lives while working together toward deeper self-understanding, greater self-compassion, and more freedom in how you relate to yourself and others. Therapy with me makes room for opposites – we can acknowledge the patterns that helped you survive, and that they might be causing you difficulty right now. We can hold grief and hope in the same hour. And, we can move slowly and intentionally through these contradictions together. I am dedicated to bringing warmth, honesty, and a bit of humor into the room as we explore these patterns and emotions, including how they show up between us and in the words you choose. While we do this deeper work, I integrate Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to support you in concretely managing day-to-day challenges and holding the immense complexity this world has to offer us. My path to becoming a therapist began with providing home visits to LGBTQ+ older adults. In this work, I became familiar with the unique challenges and resiliencies that queer people and communities build over their lifespans. This experience deepened my commitment to providing open, nonjudgemental, and trauma-informed care. This is assured by listening with a careful presence that is affirming of kink, sex work, and polyamory in every session. In my free time, I love expressing my creative side through crafts like knitting and embroidery, reading, and cooking. I also enjoy spending time with my foster cats!

I have extensive experience working with college-aged students and young adults. I welcome you to reach out for a phone call to discuss your needs, and whether we might work together.

Hi, I’m a queer-identified therapist who is passionate about creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and adolescents, as well as people in non-traditional relationships]. I believe therapy should be a place where all parts of you are welcome—without judgment, without assumptions, and without having to educate your therapist about your identity or lifestyle. I work with adults, teens, and couples navigating a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma, and burnout. Whether you're exploring your identity, managing emotional overwhelm, or navigating complex relational dynamics, my goal is to support you with compassion and evidence-based care. I use an integrative approach to care, basead on your needs. In our work together, we’ll balance insight and self-exploration with skill-building and practical strategies, so you can feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in your daily life. As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than 16 years of healthcare experience, my practice is rooted in patient-centered, holistic, trauma-informed care for people at every stage of life. Whether you're navigating stress, anxiety, or mood disorders; facing a major life transition; working through grief or trauma; or exploring questions of identity and relationships, including within the LGBTQ+ community, you'll find a space here that is welcoming, stigma free, and free of judgment. Building genuine rapport is at the heart of everything I do. When you walk through the door, my hope is that you feel safe enough to share your story. Consider me a true collaborator in your care. Together, we'll work toward self-discovery and the kind of mental health that feels meaningful to you. No two people are alike, which is why my approach is individualized, collaborative, and holistic. Showing up for you exactly where you are, without preconceptions or pressure, is something I hold as a core commitment. Partnering with you to define your goals and build a path toward them is what I find most fulfilling about this work. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, calm, and nonjudgmental environment where your comfort comes first. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside humanistic and integrative methods, I bring together techniques from multiple approaches to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your unique personality and needs. The result is care that feels less like a formula and more like a conversation. Long before I became a psychiatric nurse practitioner, people in my life would come to me when they needed someone to listen. Friends, family members, and loved ones often said that talking with me helped them through difficult moments. That feedback stayed with me and quietly shaped the direction my career would take. As my healthcare career evolved, so did my appreciation for the depth of emotional support that patients need alongside medical care. Walking alongside people through medical crises, serious illness, and grief deepened my commitment to empathetic, whole-person care and led me to the work I do today. Warmth and a nurturing presence are things I bring to every appointment. When I'm not in the office, you'll often find me outside, walking through nature or settling into a meditation or yoga practice. Creativity is a big part of how I recharge too. Drawing, painting, writing poetry, and music all play a role in my life outside of work. As an amateur musician, I enjoy singing, learning keyboard, and playing flute, less for performance and more for the joy and relaxation it brings.
Adolescence and adulthood can be exciting and overwhelming. Navigating academic pressures, identity exploration, relationship challenges, or major life transitions can be daunting to tackle on your own. I specialize in supporting adolescents, young adults, and their families as they face anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, and the stress of achievement and belonging. My experience working as an assistant dean of admission at Princeton University, coupled with my counseling experience at Princeton’s counseling and psychological center, and working in an independent K-12 school, has informed my deep understanding of the pressures students and families face in academic, social, and developmental spaces. In therapy, we’ll explore moments of vulnerability and discomfort that can contribute to self-doubt and isolation. I work collaboratively with individuals and families to uncover ways to strengthen communication and bring clarity to relational dynamics. My goal is to create an affirming space rooted in empathy and cultural humility, where you develop tools towards empowerment and rediscover your authentic self. I take an integrative and trauma-informed approach, grounded in person-centered, culturally responsive, and strength-based care. I draw from CBT with a multicultural and feminist lens, working with individuals from diverse backgrounds who may be navigating their gender and sexuality, cultural, and intersectional identities. Whether you're exploring therapy for the first time or continuing your journey, I am committed to making mental health care approachable and welcoming for everyone.
My mission is to help each client I see to achieve lasting change through greater self-awareness, and enhanced knowledge of and ability to use skills to manage emotions, tolerate distress, communicate more effectively, and manage life’s challenges and stressors in more helpful ways. I am a warm, emotionally engaged therapist who will make you feel comfortable and understood. I am open and direct, and you will be able to tell instantly that you are in the room with someone who really wants to help you be your best self. Clients tell me that I am approachable and easy to talk to. I have 20 years of experience helping people who are struggling in one or multiple areas of their lives, and I believe that each client needs and deserves a personalized approach targeted to their own personality style, problems, and goals.
People come to therapy for a lot of reasons, but many feel like they need a change from how things are. Some don’t know what it is that needs to change, and they want more insight about what new roads they might try walking down. Others know exactly the changes they want to make in their lives, but they need a safe place to say it out loud to themselves, and they want help along the way. Some can’t change their situation and still yearn to be at peace. Regardless of what brought you to session, my goal during our time together is to work with you to help you identify obstacles in your path. My style is empowering, warm, and pragmatic. I work with people to manage their challenging experiences and connect with the life they want. I use cognitive behavior and acceptance and commitment therapy techniques. I provide comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, and specialize in evaluating for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders and autism. I don't know you yet, but I'm excited to get to know you and help you come to a greater understanding of your values and getting you back to living the life you'd like to be living.
Are you a college student experiencing overwhelming emotions, feeling stuck, or struggling with anxiety or depression? Navigating these challenges isn't easy and I am here to support you through these difficult moments. I am a clinical psychologist specializing in anxiety and mood disorders across the lifespan. My mission is to provide evidence-based care to fit each client's unique needs, individuality, culture, and strengths. My style is warm and collaborative, and I work to meet clients where they are with unconditional positive regard. My clinical work is driven by a deep respect and appreciation for each client and their goals. Treatment is tailored to each individual. We will work together to break patterns that are no longer working and explore new approaches that align with your vision of growth.
Some of the most meaningful moments in my work have come from patients who carried their struggles alone for far too long — people who finally decided, on their own terms, that something needed to change. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I work with young adults to older adults from a wide range of socioeconomic statuses, upbringings, faiths, and political affiliations who may be navigating depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma. Of these, the ones who truly stand out are those who were honestly determined to seek treatment for their own betterment. What you bring to our work together matters deeply to me. If you're arriving with a genuine willingness to make real change in your life, we'll build on that foundation. Together, we'll develop a structured treatment plan with clear objectives oriented around your SMART goals, moving toward measurable growth rather than simply managing symptoms. My approach is rooted in respect, honest partnership, and the belief that treatment works best when it's something you've chosen for yourself. Whatever brings you here, my hope is to help you grow into a version of yourself you may not have realized you could be. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based stress management techniques, I help you address the immediate obstacles you're facing, while using a psychodynamic approach to work through the deeper roots of core issues that may stem from key past experiences. I approach every session with respect, compassion, and open-mindedness, so you are empowered to achieve this healing in an environment where you feel safe, comfortable, and free to express yourself without fear of judgment. You can also expect to work with a therapist who understands what it means to be human, which is to be imperfect regardless of skillset or background. I recognize and accept that certain flaws are simply part of one's character, and whether those are things to actively work on will always be a decision we make together. By drawing on my own experiences, within appropriate limits, and even humor when appropriate, you feel recognized as a full person with emotions rather than a case to be managed. Mental health struggles are not strangers to me. I've navigated my own battles with depression, anxiety, and traumatic loss, and have been blessed with the genuine fortune of working through those experiences with skilled therapists and mentors who shaped both who I am and how I practice. These experiences are foundational to my work now. Growing up, I was taught that kindness and respect are the conditions under which real trust is built. That lesson has stayed with me. In my practice, I believe warmth and acceptance aren't just values to aspire to — they are clinical necessities. Treatment is most effective when the person receiving it feels genuinely welcomed, regardless of background, upbringing, faith, or life experience. All patients who come ready to do the work are welcome. To anyone considering treatment for the first time: give it an honest chance. The willingness to show up is often the hardest part, and it's worth it. Music has been a constant in my life. I play guitar and bass, write songs, and sing. Video games are another genuine passion; I've logged serious hours in Skyrim, compete enthusiastically in Mario Kart, and have recently been deep into Marvel Rivals (among others). When schedules align, spending time with family and friends is where I love to be.
