I am a certified psychoanalyst and licensed psychologist working with adults, adolescents, and families in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in downtown Princeton, NJ.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities and hold a special commitment to affirming and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ community. Whether you’re exploring your identity, working through anxiety or depression, facing a life transition, or simply looking for more balance, I’ll meet you where you are—with warmth, curiosity, and care. I am dedicated to creating a supportive, collaborative space for adults navigating life’s challenges. I take a person-centered approach, meaning our work is guided by your experiences, needs, and goals. Therapy with me is grounded in empathy, respect, and the belief that meaningful healing happens when you feel truly seen & heard. I believe self-care is more than a checklist—it's about honoring your needs. Above all, I aim to build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel empowered to move forward in your own way, at your own pace. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d be honored to work with you.

My practice focuses on helping my clients identify and live according to their values. I meet my clients where they are at with empathy and acceptance, and together we explore their feelings, thoughts, strengths, and needs. I practice using a queer and trans-affirming, anti-racist, anti-ableist, trauma-informed lens. I tailor my sessions to meet the needs of each client, and I am also a certified Therapeutic Game Master who enjoys utilizing role play and games in therapy with adolescents and adults to practice skills for decision making, frustration tolerance, and managing conflict. I wear a mask at all in-person appointments and encourage my clients to wear one, as well.

College is constantly marketed as "the best years of your life," but honestly? Most days it just feels like a high-pressure cycle of performing, over-thinking, and trying to keep your head above water. Maybe you’ve done everything "right"—you’re passing the classes, you’ve got the internship, and your LinkedIn looks great—but on the inside, you’re dealing with major anxiety, burnout, or just a heavy sense of “is this it?” It’s exhausting to feel like you’re just going through the motions while everyone else seems to have their life together. I’m not here to lecture you or give you a "to-do" list. I provide a real, non-judgmental space where you can finally just breathe and be yourself. Using a mix of IFS and Narrative therapy, we’ll look at the patterns holding you back and help you figure out who you actually want to be—not who your parents, your professors, or your peers expect you to be. You deserve to feel grounded and at peace, even when the future feels like one big question mark. Let’s work together so you can stop just getting by and start leading your own life.
I strive to create an atmosphere of trust, respect, and compassion that allows people to become more self-aware, to find healing, and to living a more fulfilling life. I'm very familiar with the needs and issues of undergraduate, graduate, and medical students because I worked for two years at the University Counseling Center and have had many students in my practice. I offer individual and relationship counseling and integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques based on the particular needs of each client or couple. I provide support and direction, but also find it essential to work collaboratively with my clients. And, I not only help address the specific problems clients bring to therapy, but also strive to assist them in identifying and fostering their specific strengths and abilities. I have a teletherapy only practice. I’ve worked with a large number of students via this format and it has proved very successful. Many people like it because it's so convenient, especially when they’re juggling a busy schedule or don't have transportation. I’m always glad to have an initial conversation to answer any questions you might have about teletherapy or my practice. A note about insurance and payment: Some insurances other than those listed under the finance section may be covered. Actual costs for therapy are based on your insurance's copay amounts. Most clients with insurance only pay between $10-$40 per session. If I'm not able to accept your insurance, session costs will be based on your income if you are emancipated from your parents or a graduate student. If you are still a dependent in your parent's household then your fee would be based on your parent's combined income.
Hey, man. Your friends, family, or your partner aren't supposed to be your therapist. You need an outlet where you can be vulnerable, speak freely, and unburden yourself without any fear of backlash that could damage the relationship. You want a return on investment of the time, money, and energy that you put into therapy because that's what matters most. You need a therapist who gets you because you deserve to build a life worth living. This relationship needs to feel right, and you want a therapist who can join you through the truth, tell you like it is, and help you find the best tools for your toolbox. Usually, clients connect with me because of challenges connected to men's issues, grief & loss, emotion regulation, relationship issues, and life transitions through pregnancy and postpartum.

Are you tired of "reacting" and not feeling good about yourself? Is your past controlling you in the present in ways that aren't serving you? When we are "hijacked" by our past experiences we lose the ability to "choose" how we want to respond. This affects how we feel physically and emotionally; which can make us feel depressed, anxious, shameful. This in turn impacts the quality of our interpersonal relationships. It doesn't have to be that way. I see therapy as a relational and collaborative process that supports wellbeing on mental, physical and spiritual levels. My approach blends several Somatic and Talk based psychotherapies: EMDR, The Trauma Resiliency Model, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Relational, and several, Mindfulness based awareness techniques which include my many years background in the healing effects of yoga. Each person is an embodied being with pleasant an unpleasant experiences embedded in the flesh and bones and tangled in the mind. My therapeutic work with individuals and couples is to process the unpleasant and build resiliency in support of personal transformation.

I am a seasoned, experienced therapist, dedicated to helping my clients feel joy, hope, worthiness, and fulfillment. College can be a really difficult time and I am here to support you. My current clients see me as someone who is caring, calm, empathic, and goes the extra mile. I work hard to create a safe, trusting space where you can share freely. I am very experienced in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, trauma from a sexual assault or relationships violence, processing trauma from childhood, and current family boundary struggles, homesickness, feeling like your college is not the right fit, struggling to find your major/passion/career path, struggling around your sexuality or gender identity-or struggling with the many ways society/family makes it difficult to live out your authentic life, roommate struggles, struggles around making big life decisions during college, feeling like the "only" at your college related to race, or gender identity, sexuality or ethnicity or nationality, feeling lonely in college, and many more struggles that can make college challenging, and not what you hoped for or expected. These are just some of the struggles you might be experiencing in college, and I can help. I have a virtual-only practice. You don’t have to go through this alone. Please know there is hope and healing in your future. You deserve care and help.
Life can have its challenging moments, especially during this time of uncertainty and quick changes. Throughout our life we develop methods of coping that, at one time, perhaps helped us to survive, but now prevent us from ultimately thriving. This can manifest in our relationship patterns and our mood which can cause disruption in work, love, family, friendships and a healthy identity. I am here to help support you through these changes as well find new ways to create balance and better manage the stressors influencing your daily life. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, life changes, or processing this past year, I am here to listen. While I am licensed as an art psychotherapist, creating art during session is not required.

Hello my name is Gina. My experience is extensive in working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, postpartum, relational issues, stress & anger management, grief & loss, ADD, conflict with life direction & transitions. My approach is warm, empathetic and supportive. I am interactive and will give feedback, ask questions and also challenge you at times in areas to gain greater insight and growth. Asking for help can feel difficult, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming but you don’t have to do it alone! I am here to help you navigate these areas, grow and heal. I attended NYU for my masters & EU for my bachelors. My training is in psychodynamic theory and my style reflects this by utilizing an eclectic therapeutic approach. I also believe the therapeutic relationship can be an important part of healing. I think it’s important to understand why we do what we do but also provide practical tools to cope as well. Therapy can be an effective tool in the healing process and can help people gain insight and control over otherwise overwhelming circumstances. I believe in an approach which works at a pace that you determine and are comfortable with. I like to offer feedback and reflection and explore both the underlying emotions and roots to behaviors and feelings.
My Approach Transitions in our lives can bring up a lot of different emotions. Some of these emotions can be conflicting if the transition “should” be happy. My work focuses on individuals and couples as they navigate through these transitions. There are ways to process it, work through it and allow you to show up authentically for yourself and your relationships. Your emotions are valid and your reactions are safety mechanisms learned through your survival of your experiences. My goal is to help you navigate through these changes, learn about yourself and build a meaningful life.
