I’m a seasoned therapist who’s passionate about helping people navigate trauma, life transitions, and everyday challenges. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and safe to explore your experiences. Together, we’ll work at your pace to build understanding, coping skills, and lasting growth. You're the expert on your own lived experiences! We’ll work together to understand your story, build on your strengths, and find ways to bring more balance and peace into your life. My approach combines trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, psychodynamic insight, and a systems lens to help you heal and move forward. Our first session is about getting to know you, answering your questions, and beginning the work toward healing at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your goals, and start creating a supportive space for growth and healing.
I have done psychotherapy with graduate students, especially around relationship, bereavement (particularly early parental loss), anxiety and fertility issues for over twenty years. I believe that most emotional pain stems from both difficult life circumstances and how we perceive those events. I work in an open, warm and empathically challenging way to help people better explore, understand and wrestle with the issues that are keeping them from finding more peace, joy, freedom and fulfillment.
I seek to provide a nurturing and safe space for individuals seeking therapy. We can navigate whatever it is you're facing together and come up with safe, solution focused, and healthy ways to navigate life’s uncertainties. Whether it's professional growth, relationship issues, or boundary setting I am here to support you along the way. My approach is person-centered and trauma informed. I have a background in and understanding of creative arts and mindfulness tools. I seek to implement a holistic set of approaches to assist with the care for anxiety, depression, and life adjustments. Together we can work toward healing and growth.
As a psychotherapist, school counselor, learning specialist, and executive function coach with over twenty years of experience, my eclectic background informs my holistic and neurodiversity-affirming approach to coaching and counseling. Sessions are individualized and collaborative, while providing a supportive and accepting environment for growth. I meet you where you are at now and help you progress toward your goals at a pace that is comfortable for you. My clinical and teaching experience includes working in schools and agency settings. For eight years, I worked as a learning specialist for students with disabilities at Columbia University in which I provided executive function coaching, academic counseling, and learning support. In my private practice, I continue to work with university and professional students, as well as adults in all stages of life. My clients feel safe, supported, and motivated by the work we do together, and I am committed to helping others recognize and cultivate their unique gifts.
Are you in the midst of navigating young adulthood, trying to carve out your own identity? This journey is exciting, yet it can also feel overwhelming and uncertain. Do you often feel the weight of expectations from family, friends, or society, pushing you toward specific paths—like what college to attend or which career to pursue? From the outside, is your life “together” or “on track” but on the inside, you’re struggling with anxiety and self-esteem? If so, you’re not alone. I’m here to help you explore who you are and who you truly want to be. It’s completely normal to experience anxiety, stress, or confusion during this pivotal time in your life. Your role in your family is changing as you grow into an adult. Social media and comparison may be making you feel inadequate. These are real and intense pressures of young-adulthood. Together, we’ll develop skills to make real change in managing your anxiety, building your self-esteem, and empowering you to embrace your authentic self. Utilizing a blend of Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I guide young people in processing emotions, understanding past experiences, and developing concrete skills to feel more empowered and in control. Our therapy sessions will provide a safe and affirming space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. My goal is to support clients in becoming the best version of themselves. I see therapy as a tool to support and motivate clients in taking control of their lives. I believe that therapy is truly for everyone- you do not need to have a major problem to start therapy. Therapy can be a place where we discuss the good things happening in your life! However, starting therapy is a vulnerable process. I am here to support your experiences and to provide you with the tools to better cope with situations. I focus on exploring clients' inner voices and beliefs that dictate how we interpret situations. I work with young adults and adults. I work mainly with issues around self worth, communication, anxiety, and life transitions. I have a background in education and empathize with young adults and adults striving for perfectionism. I also feel passionately about helping young adults feel empowered and find happiness and success in their careers and the corporate world. As a Jewish therapist, I bring a strong appreciation for how culture, identity, and personal values shape the way we move through the world. I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up fully as yourself—whether you’re navigating school stress, relationships, family dynamics, or figuring out who you want to be in this next chapter of your life.

As a former educator, college counselor, and therapist in a college wellness center, I am well-versed in how challenging the transition to college can be. My aim is to help you start feeling more like yourself.
My goal is to build a strong alliance with you in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring meaningful positive therapeutic outcomes. We are often engaging in life through the means that we have been taught by all of those who have come before us. Life has become a perpetual cycle where bliss, peace, harmony, and all of the other facets that make life worth living seem to escape us more and more. Instead, we are trapped in depression, anxiety, distrust, judgment and more often than not our physical temples are suffering. Collectively, a shift in perception is needed. This starts with the individual. Traditional integrative psychotherapy infused with an array of healing modalities intuitively tailored to your specific needs. The sessions can include Kundalini yoga and Meditation, Energetic Clearing, Light Language, Shadow Work Healing, Ancestral Clearing, Womb Activation Healing & Cosmic Coding. If you do not have self –awareness; if you do not bask in your own love, if you are running on autopilot and have no INNERstanding- the world around you will reflect this. Your life is your classroom it is perfectly woven to bring you back to you. No exceptions. Take the time to be in relationship with self and know that all else will follow.
