In my practice, I see college students and young adults for a variety of issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, stress, transitions/major life decisions, and career concerns. I also employ a whole-person process approach to career counseling so that all factors are considered when making vocational decisions. I strive to provide my clients with a safe, nonjudgmental environment to understand themselves better and move toward a fulfilling life. I often learn as much from my clients as they do from me and I consider therapy a highly collaborative process.

My clients often struggle with challenges in their relationship’s whether they be romantic, friendly, or family relationships. My clients worry about abandonment, often finding issues from their past show up and negatively affect their relationships. Some feel they may be in a codependent relationship but not sure. Our work together will help you understand how past pain affects present relationships. Then we will work at unpacking that baggage, organize it, and put it away in a safe place. Although it may never truly go away, you can confront it in a way that allows you to move forward and find happiness. My goal is to get to know you and the issues that bring you to counseling. We will work together to help you establish a baseline of calm, good self-care, and coping skills. This will help you feel safe and secure before we dive into unpacking the things that are causing you pain. Together we will set goals, to help you realize all of your unique strengths, create healthy boundaries, and self-esteem to build a happier, healthier life, I look forward to working with you.

I am a PSYPACT certified licensed psychologist and can meet with clients in 42 states for teletherapy - As of December 2025, I will also be offering in-person appointments in Raleigh on Thursdays (9 am-2 pm) and Fridays (9 am-5 pm). In-network with Aetna and BCBS. You may be reaching out for support at this time because you’re feeling stuck. When meeting with my clients for the first time and discussing what brings them to therapy, most share that they have tried everything that they can think of to address their concern. Perhaps they’re used to being able to “figure it out” independently but the current issue feels insurmountable. My approach to therapy is walking alongside you as you explore different parts of yourself, better understand your thoughts and emotions, reflect on where long-standing patterns may have come from, and move towards actions that align with your values. While you are the expert of your own experience, you don’t have to go through this alone. I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in relationship concerns, anxiety, depression, disordered eating/body image, perfectionism, trauma and resilience with close attention to and incorporation of your intersecting identities. I have almost 10 years of experience providing counseling services to adults and young adults. Specifically, I was the embedded psychologist for the Emory School of Medicine, where I worked primarily with medical students. I have a deep understanding of the ways academic stress impacts young adults, particularly in their longing for a sense of control and the impact of work stressors on relationships. I use research supported approaches to address client concerns, while leaning into our therapeutic relationship by building a safe and collaborative environment. I strive to find balance between exploration and empowering you to leave each session with tangible skills and strategies that can help you meet your goals and maintain changes over time. It would be an honor for me to walk alongside you as we explore parts of yourself and trust that we can make meaningful changes together.

Sometimes we can feel as if on a mountaintop with a sense of clarity and other times in a valley unable to see the next step. Life is a journey with experiences and seasons where we can all use some help along the way. Whether it be marriage, dating, work, friendships, or family dynamics, relationships can be complex. Through life's complexities we can learn and grow. I believe everyone deserves to experience joy and live an abundant life. By living authentically to ourselves and others we can become the best version of ourselves. My desire is to meet you where you are and collaboratively work with you to reach your full potential. My experience includes addiction counseling, grief work, mens issues, couples counseling, trauma counseling, veteran-specific counseling, and working with adolescents on behavioral issues in their family system. I can also provide music therapy as a board-certified music therapist. Creating change is an active choice and one that is empowering and takes courage to implement. At times we all need help, especially when life gets complex and problems occur. I can relate to life's complexity and extend empathy in your process. My goal is to walk alongside you and provide tools with the mindset that you are the expert of your own life.

I proudly affirm and support clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds. College and young adulthood can feel overwhelming at times. Even people who seem like they’re “doing fine” on the outside can feel anxious, exhausted, or disconnected internally. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. Hi! I'm a therapist licensed in Georgia and North Carolina. I help people who are feeling stressed and overwhelmed to better cope with challenges, change patterns of behavior that aren’t working, improve relationships with friends and family, and increase an overall sense of well being. By providing a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and welcoming space, I help you explore how social, political, economic, and cultural factors impact your health and wellbeing. My approach is compassionate, culturally-responsive, and identity-affirming, with a social justice perspective. Both my life and work experiences have shaped my work as a therapist. My life experience includes growing up as a child of Taiwanese immigrants, living in Europe as an adult, and advocating for social justice. My work experience includes providing counseling at Duke University Medical Center, Elon University Counseling Center, and multiple therapy agencies. In therapy sessions, I use various evidence-based treatments to help you work towards your personalized goals. You can learn ways to cope with stress, how to not let your emotions overwhelm you, and how to skillfully ask for what you need in your relationships. Sessions are offered online via a secure format. Before beginning therapy with any new client, I offer a free 15-minute consultation to answer any questions and to see if we are a good match to work well together.
So often, life can feel overwhelming. You may be navigating big transitions, trying to be a good partner, or feeling the pressure to hold everything together - while inside you feel like you’re barely managing. These struggles can feel lonely, but you don’t have to go through them alone. Therapy provides a supportive space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and gain clarity and insight into your experiences. I offer compassionate, person-centered therapy for adults 18+ navigating a variety of issues. My work is tailored to each individual and may draw on mindfulness, skills-building, and exploration of your experiences to support you in whatever you are navigating. I am passionate about supporting women’s mental health, including pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and can also offer support for couples. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but I will meet you with warmth, curiosity, and nonjudgment, offering space for you to feel seen and supported. If you're ready to take that next step, I'd be honored to walk with you on the journey.
Hi there, my name is Kristina Mills-Gregory, and I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor in North Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, Oregon, and Florida. I have been providing therapy for over 12 years. I have a Masters in Counseling from Campbell University, and a BA in Psychology and Communication Studies from University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Prior to becoming a therapist, I started my career as a school counselor in public schools. I have also worked in community mental health, providing a wide range of services. I specialize in depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, and other issues.
I specialize in relationship issues, breakups, and complex trauma processing, and I work with adult individuals and couples. Folks who struggle with boundaries, expressing needs, avoidance, anxiety, or managing conflict find our work rewarding. I'm especially passionate about supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and highly sensitive folks. I help clients process distress, foster meaningful connections, and build resiliency. I’m a humanistic, strengths-based therapist, which means I believe that you already have what you need within you to thrive. We'll work together to heal past wounds and uncover the authentic self that lies beneath. I'm trauma-informed and attachment-oriented, and often use IFS and EFT interventions. I focus on creating experiences in session where you can connect to your body, emotions, and parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden, even from yourself. If you’re journeying as a couple, this may look like learning to connect in more vulnerable ways. Reaching out to a new therapist can feel daunting, and I get how important it is to find someone who feels right for you. I’m here to help you figure out what you really need and how we can make that happen together. I’m excited to meet you and help you find the trust, confidence, and peace of mind you deserve.
Welcome! I'm glad you're here. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s totally okay if you're not sure what to expect. I work with students who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or just not like themselves lately. Maybe you're adjusting to college life, navigating relationships, dealing with academic pressure, or trying to figure out who you are and what you want. Many of the students I work with share a desire to understand themselves better and to feel more in control of their emotions and choices. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin—we can work through it together. My style is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll go at a pace that feels right for you. In our sessions, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space to explore whatever’s on your mind. Therapy is a place to be heard, understood, and to grow. If you’re ready to get started—or even just curious—I’d be honored to support you.
