Hello, my name is Kristen Cooper MacDiarmid. I am a licensed professional counselor that works with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in anxiety and mood disorders, but I also have extensive experience with school and behavioral issues. In this time of turmoil and change, it is more important than ever to take care of our mental health while maintaining our physical health and well being; therefore, I am now offering telehealth appointments for both play and talk therapy. I believe that everyone has the strength and ability to succeed deep within themselves, even if you can’t see it because of your current situation or mindset. I want to help you find that inner ability, pull from that innate strength, and learn the techniques that will help bring out the best you have within you. Whether through play therapy as a child or talk therapy as an adult, I can help you find techniques that will work for you to help you manage the daily stressors of life, make radical life changes, or to work through trauma. I can work with you to find ways to reframe your thinking and provide noticeable change and help facilitate peace in your life.
I know life can be difficult, whether you're facing trauma, anxiety, sexual challenges, or the intricacies of autism. You don't have to face these difficulties alone. I enjoy working with individuals and couples over the age of 18, creating a supportive space tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe that you’re the expert on your life, and I’m here to listen and provide a space where you feel safe to reflect and explore. Whether you're struggling with past pain, current stress, or just trying to figure out your next steps, we’ll work together to move forward at your pace.

Ever feel like you're always just "catching up" or you're on the "outside" looking in? As an Autistic professional, I love assisting other neurodivergent individuals in navigating a neurotypical world. I offer a judgement-free, solution-oriented space where authenticity is the only agenda and an "eyes wide open" approach that uses precision and depth to uncover what’s hidden. I serve adult clients who may be experiencing identity and worldview transitions, shame and perfectionism, anxiety, as well as grief and depression. My specialty is helping clients succeed in their search for self-trust and direction. Life is a story full of unexpected twists and chapter breaks. It can be easy to lose the plot along the way. I primarily utilize Existential Psychotherapy with aspects of SFBT, emphasizing elements such as meaning-making, authenticity, and personal agency. This makes my approach highly adaptive to your specific journey. I graduated from Texas Woman's University with my master's degree in Counseling and Development and am licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Billie Baker, LPC-S, and Dr. James Parker, LP. I offer in-person and teletherapy sessions with Dallas Therapy Associates.
Hi! I'm Brittney, a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Reflection and Grace Counseling, offering telehealth therapy to students throughout Texas. College is new territory to navigate for anyone. You're managing your own schedule, navigating new relationships, and maybe questioning everything you thought you knew about yourself — all while submitting your assignments by 11:59pm before it's late. If you've noticed a little more anxiety creeping in, more self-doubt than you expected, or a general sense that everyone else has it "all figured out"...that's actually really normal. And also a great time to talk to someone. I work with adults who are tired of shrinking themselves to keep the peace and ready to build a relationship with themselves that actually feels real. My approach is warm, grounded, and judgment-free. You don't have to perform okayness here. This chapter is a big one. Let's make sure you're not navigating it alone.
My name is Rasheedat Koleosho and I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who provides client-centered care with individualized treatment plans. I have over 10 years of experience in the medical field and a master’s degree in nursing from the Grand Canyon University and Post Graduate Certificate as a psychiatric nurse practitioner from Rocky Mountain University. I have also received additional training and certifications in various evidence-based therapies and interventions. Are you looking for a mental health provider who can help you with your depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or substance abuse? If so, you have come to the right place. I offer medication management and supportive therapy. My goal is to help you overcome your mental health challenges and improve your well-being. I offer medication management, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, crisis intervention and referral to other resources. I also use various tools and methods to measure your progress and outcomes, such as psychological rating scales and client’s self-report.
Our Counseling Practice: we offer outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples. We are willing to use or avoid using passages from the Christian Bible in sessions. Our Treatment Focus: to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths through counseling. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Our Patient Promise: we promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
We all carry pieces of our past into the present, our experiences, relationships, losses, strengths, culture, and the ways we learned to cope along the way. I believe we are the sum of those parts, and counseling gives us a place to understand how they shaped who we are today and decide what we want to carry forward. I'm Arcelia Emerson LPC-Associate Supervised by April West LPC-S. My path to becoming a counselor is personal. I’ve been a client myself, and my experience with EMDR showed me how powerful counseling can be. It also taught me what it feels like to sit on the other side of the room, share your story, and do the hard work of healing. That experience continues to shape how I work with my clients, with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity. I see counseling as a partnership. You are the expert on your life, and we work together to understand patterns, build on your strengths, and find tools that make sense for you. My approach is trauma-informed and individualized because I don’t believe counseling should be one-size-fits-all. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, along with mindfulness, breathwork, grounding, yoga, Sandtray, and creative approaches. Together, we look at both the mind and body and find what works best for you. I work with all ages experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief, relationship concerns, life changes, or simply feeling stuck. Your culture, family, identity, values, and experiences are all part of your story and are welcome in the counseling room. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming. You don’t have to know exactly what you need before you begin. We can figure that out together.

College is exciting! It can also be terrifying, overwhelming, and lonely. Even if you have your educational and career path chosen and locked in. Do you find yourself feeling anxious before classes or social events that are supposed to be THE thing in college? Maybe you're finding it harder and harder to get out of bed, go to work, complete your assignments, or to even hang out with friends. On the other side of the college journey is preparing to graduate and step into the professional world. All of these experiences are likely to bring up stress and conflicting emotions within you. As a parent of a medically complex child and a person with my own chronic health conditions, I often see people become weary when navigating the chronic illness journey. Despite being smart, determined, strong, and compassionate, they begin to feel overwhelmed by life. They feel betrayed by their body. They are unsure of what abilities they, or their loved one, will have in the future and what that means for their sense of who they are. They face disappointment, anger, or judgement from friends and family who don’t understand the challenges they are facing. I want those fellow travelers to know: you deserve to find peace even in the midst of difficulty. You deserve to define and redefine who you are. Hope is not out of your reach. If you want to navigate uncertainty without losing yourself in the process, I’d love to help you. You don’t have to continue alone. Contact me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see how I can help.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. I enjoy working with college students and have experience working in a college counseling center. I enjoy helping people with depression, anxiety, and other problems navigating challenges related to academics, identity, family issues, and relationships. I especially enjoy supporting BIPOC, LGBTQ (and trans people in particular), children of immigrants, and international students.
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker specializing in therapeutic work with young adults and adults. Over the last several years I have worked extensively with young adults and adults experiencing Depression and Anxiety. I take a client centered approach through the use of a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Therapy. My name is Darlena Cochran and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I understand that life is full of changes, some good and some hard. Through any change there is an adjustment and sometimes a healing process needs to happen. I can help create a goal towards a better quality of life. I would welcome to be given the opportunity to help you to start the healing process. I am happy to help with depression, anxiety, bipolar, ocd, ptsd, and more. I am able to provider EMDR virtually.
My path started by working in alternative high schools, and then as a career counselor in management and business development roles for a few universities and military populations. I have over 18 years of experience working in education, career development, and mental health. My experience growing up in Flint, Michigan, and being the first in my family to attend college, shaped how I view and overcome challenges. I specialize in support for working professionals, especially teachers, nurses, and students with anxiety or depression who are struggling in their careers, education, or relationships. Many feel stuck, burnt out, angry, and overwhelmed. Chronic stress makes it hard for them to connect with their instructors, bosses, and peers. Time management is an issue and constantly trying to keep up. Some may prefer to be alone, even though it leads to ruminating over traumatic work experiences and substance use. My clients have demanding jobs and/or class schedules, and are highly trained and accustomed to solving problems. However, no one is immune to the long-term effects of stress and trauma. I have over 18 years working in counseling, higher education, and career development. My communication style is warm, yet solution-focused, often encouraging you to think from the end, build your resilience, and focus on the future. Some clients get what they need to make a positive change in 6-8 sessions. Others enjoy my long-term support to address trauma. First time trying talk therapy? Congrats on taking the first step. I value confidentiality and understand the college campus and workplace cultures. You do not have to go through this alone. Let's get you out of survival mode and start to thrive. Reach out to schedule your complimentary 15-minute consultation today. I look forward to talking with you.
