You feel like anxiety has crept into all areas of your life. You avoid decisions or situations that feel overwhelming, and instead turn to any distraction (mindless eating, social media, drinking, etc.) you can find to avoid the shame and guilt of not moving forward. You're used to holding it all together, but inside it's starting to feel like too much. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns you can't seem to break. Maybe you're overthinking everything, feeling stress in your relationships, or carrying the weight of past experiences. I’m a family trauma therapist and I’d love to help you heal from family chaos. Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with those impacted by addiction, mental health challenges, and intergenerational trauma. I specialize in trauma, EMDR, and working with overachievers who are ready to move beyond coping and create meaningful and lasting change. My approach blends EMDR, parts work (IFS), and attachment-focused therapy to support deep, lasting healing. Rather than just talking through challenges, we’ll gently process past experiences, understand the parts of you that feel stuck or overwhelmed, and work toward a greater sense of safety and connection, both within yourself and in your relationships. If you grew up in a chaotic, unpredictable, or emotionally unsafe family, you may now find yourself struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, or a constant sense of pressure to be “okay.” Even when life is stable, your nervous system may not feel at ease. Reach out if you're ready to stop just surviving through the day and start thriving in life.
You may feel disconnected from yourself—questioning your worth, your decisions, or your place in relationships. Perhaps your inner dialogue is critical, self-doubt feels persistent, or you find yourself repeating the same unhelpful relationship patterns. As an individual or as a couple, you want more than symptom relief. You want clarity, confidence, and healthier ways of relating—to yourself and to each other. You’re looking for a space to slow down, make sense of what’s weighing on you, and begin showing up differently in your life and relationships. I take a trauma-informed, integrative approach tailored to your needs. I believe insight fosters understanding, clarity, and awareness—and once awareness is present, change becomes a choice. Together, we’ll explore the thought patterns and relational dynamics shaping how you see yourself and show up in your relationships. Depending on your goals, we may explore how past experiences affect the present or focus on practical strategies for current challenges. I work with individuals and couples facing self-esteem concerns, identity struggles, unhelpful thinking patterns, relationship stress, burnout, and life transitions.

I am a LMSW licensed in TX. I support folks navigating grief, ADHD, autism, gender and/or sexuality exploration, relationship shifts after gender transition, and life as a child of immigrants. My work is grounded in values and mindfulness, and incorporates practices that help you stay rooted, present, and connected to what really matters. If you’re dealing with something that isn’t listed here but you think we’d vibe, I encourage you to reach out for a consult. Therapy with me isn’t about fitting into a box, it’s about co-creating a space that makes sense for you. I am supervised by Max Casero (LCSW-S).
I am a board certified psychiatrist and provide combined psychotherapy and medication treatment. My patients are typically looking for therapy to address concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. They are also often looking for support with evidence-based medication treatment. I listen carefully to understand the difficulties that bring someone to treatment and to understand their goals. I am collaborative in my approach. I approach psychotherapy from a psychodynamic perspective, where the goal is to increase understanding and insight into thoughts, feelings, and behavior. When we can understand ourselves better, we can then change patterns that may be getting in our way. This type of therapy can often lead to lasting change. Please note that because my practice is telehealth only, I do not prescribe controlled substances (for example, stimulants for ADHD or medications such as Xanax or Ativan for anxiety).
Our work as therapist is to help you be more successful at targeting your concerns and finding new choices in how you handle them. Together we will work wonders!
Your life is changing. Becoming an adult can be exciting, but it can also be scary. With so much freedom, you have to learn balance and responsibility. At the same time, you need to explore who you are, what you like, and where you want to go. It can be overwhelming. I can offer you the support you need to manage any difficult feelings, confusing relationship experiences, and challenging identity concerns you face. I welcome all identities, backgrounds, and cultures. I work well with BIPOC folx and am always trying to be a proactive ally to the LGBTQIA++ community. I look forward to learning more about how I can help you.
From the outside, you have it all together, but on the inside you feel disconnected. A gap between the life you’re living and the person you want to be. This disconnection is often a way our mind and body protect us, but overtime it leaves us feeling stuck or empty, in a cycle of doing rather than being. Whether we are navigating relationship concerns or echoes from the past, my focus is meeting you where you are. I work with individuals and couples to peel back these layers and rebuild trust and safety within yourself and others. Together, we work on understanding, untangling, and exploring emotions, behaviors, and past experiences and how they shape you, your world, and your relationships. We create trust and connection within yourself. It isn’t about control or correction. It’s about empowering you with the clarity and trust needed to meet challenges from a place true to you. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that welcomes all orientations, relationships, and lifestyles. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and unique to you. You are not alone, when you're ready, I'm here. If you'd like to learn more, reach out for a free consultation. I'd love to work with you. Email is the best way to get in touch.
