Anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds don’t just disappear. They sneak into daily life and make things feel heavier, even when nothing seems wrong. I work with teens and adults, often helping people whose feelings weren’t fully seen or supported growing up. Anxiety and trauma can show up as overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or that constant “something’s off” feeling. I take a warm, trauma-informed approach, moving at your pace so you can feel grounded, seen, and in charge of your life. I help teens and adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and childhood wounds using EMDR, Parts Work, somatic techniques, and CBT. Together we build coping skills, process difficult memories, and work toward healing. Therapy can be intense, but we also laugh, roll our eyes at anxiety, and celebrate small wins along the way. I help you care for the inner child you once needed, challenge the beliefs feeding anxiety, and rebuild self-worth. It’s okay if it’s messy, we will work through it together. Step by step, we’ll create space for calm, clarity, and connection. Reach out for a free consultation and let’s get started.

Drawing from 10+ years of clinical experience, I use a solution-focused approach to teach skills to overcome worry, depression, anger, stress, guilt, low self-esteem, sleep issues, relationship struggles, and parenting challenges. You're the one everyone counts on. You show up, you achieve, you hold it together — and somewhere underneath, you're exhausted and not sure why nothing feels like enough. Maybe you grew up translating for your parents, managing everyone's emotions, or learning early that needing things was inconvenient. Maybe you've never called any of that trauma, because it just felt like life. I work with high-achieving adults, adult children of immigrants, and couples who are tired of functioning well and feeling terrible. Together we get underneath the coping — the overworking, the people-pleasing, the hyper-independence — and into what your nervous system has been carrying all along. My approach is warm and direct. I'll reflect back what I notice, ask the harder question, and hold space for the parts of your story that don't have easy language yet. I use Brainspotting and EMDR alongside talk therapy, because some things live in the body and can't be reasoned through. I'm Surabhi Jagdish, LMFT-S, with over 12 years of experience. I see clients virtually across Minnesota, Texas, and Colorado.
You're a woman who grew up without the emotional nurturing you needed by having a distant parent, inconsistent caregiving, or years spent being the strong one. You desired love, but received mental and emotional pain from people you trusted. Now, these early wounds are showing up as anxiety, self-doubt, depression, overthinking, trauma-responses, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, or feeling disconnected and lost. You want peace, clarity, wholeness, and the ability to break generational patterns so you can show up fully, with purpose, and thrive in life as a woman, a partner, a parent, and/or a professional. I help women heal from the impact of childhood emotional wounds using a trauma-informed, faith-integrated approach. I work towards guiding women to rebuild self-trust, regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and create an inner safety they've always deserved. I provide a therapeutic and transformational frame through individual, couples, and group work. You don't have to keep carrying these wounds alone. Healing is possible. It is time to experience a safe space where your story is honored without judgment. If you're ready for supportive work that helps you to feel whole again, I'd be honored to walk with you on this journey. Let's take the next step together.
Hi, I'm Stephanie. I believe therapy should feel supportive, safe, and focused on what matters most to you. My goal is to listen with care, help you build on your strengths, and give you tools that make life feel more manageable. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels comfortable so you can move toward positive change.
Let's be real. Anxiety is a b!tch. You know the kind I mean. Heart racing, chest tight, skin crawling, lying awake at 3am when you have to be up at 6. The kind that doesn't care how put-together you look on the outside. Most of my clients grew up in environments where they had to stay on guard just to get through the day. Emotionally unsafe, physically unsafe, or both. They learned early that keeping quiet, going along with things, and making themselves small was the smartest way to avoid getting hurt. And it worked, for a while. The problem is, survival strategies don't just turn off. So now you're people-pleasing in relationships you're not happy in. Biting your tongue when you should be speaking up. Telling yourself "it's fine" when it's really, really not. You know that voice in your head that says I should be over this by now? That's not clarity. That's the trauma talking. Here's what I see in my clients before they start working with me: they're exhausted. Not tired, exhausted. Drained by the constant hum of worry. Distant from the people they care about. Too spent to return a text, too anxious to be present, too guarded to actually rest. They carry it all in their chest like a weight they've stopped noticing because it's been there so long. You deserve something different. Not "managed" anxiety. Not white-knuckling your way through the week. Actually different. Setting your own terms. Saying no without a three-paragraph apology. Showing up in your relationships without shrinking. Feeling okay in your own skin without needing someone else's approval first. If you want to ditch the anxiety, break out of people-pleasing, and finally start living on your own terms, I'd love to help you get there.
Life is full of obstacles and challenges; sometimes, this can contribute to things feeling hopeless or out of control. Learning healthy tools to overcome and deal with these situations is an important part of mental health as well as physical health. I believe that all people have the potential to improve their situation; sometimes, they just need support to navigate those changes. I have been providing counseling services for 20+ years, and have spent many years working with adolescents and young adults dealing with trauma, domestic violence, and depression/anxiety concerns. Every client is different and unique. I strive to create a trusting and caring environment where you will feel heard and supported as I work to get to know your individual needs. I value questions and want to partner with you to help you achieve your goals. If you have been considering therapy or on the fence, I would encourage you to give it a try.
Our priority is helping you find the solution that works best for you, by listening carefully and asking the right questions before working with you to create a tailored plan to address your needs. We genuinely care about people and use the modalities and techniques that work best for the individual. We work with a wide variety of people with an even wider variety of needs. We both do a lot of work with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, LGBTQIA challenges, and aging or life transition issues. Carol E. O. She generally sees people aged 17+ and accepts most major insurances, a full listing of which is posted on the website. Doreen Vosburg completed a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from The University of Missouri, Columbia in 1998. She has over 20+ years of counseling experience and is a member of the SC Clinical Mental Health Counselors Association and EMDRIA. She is IFS-informed and utilizes a combination of techniques, including brainspotting, EMDR, CBT, and other trauma-informed strategies. She is AANE trained to provide support to non-autistic partners in neurodiverse relationships and has a special interest in the healing and recovery of Adult Children of Alcoholics.
My counseling style is straightforward, compassionate, and sprinkled with humor when it fits. I believe therapy should be a space where trust grows and you feel safe being unapologetically yourself. You're the expert on your life-I'm just here to help you navigate it with clarity and confidence.
Vada Counseling is therapy for and by queer Texans. Our licensed therapists provide safe, supportive, in-person and virtual therapy via individual, couples, family, and group counseling. All our therapists are queer, intersectional feminists, and use liberation-based (anti-oppression) therapy approaches. Whether you’re wanting to explore your queer identity, thinking about coming out, struggling with depression or anxiety, or feeling the impact of all the anti-LGBTQ+ bullsh*t legislation, we're here for you. In addition to gender and sexuality, our specialties include anxiety/panic, climate distress, dating, depression, existential crises, first-gen issues, intergenerational trauma, neurodivergence, racial/cultural identity, school stress, self-worth, self-harm and sexual trauma.
Welcome! I’m an individual and family therapist specializing in anxiety, depression, PMDD, relationship issues, and life transitions including adjustment to college. Within my practice, I offer a warm, collaborative space where it’s safe to bring your full self—your strengths, your stuck points, and the parts you’re still figuring out. I believe that when we feel safe enough in a therapeutic relationship to take risks and let down walls, we pave the way for insight and growth that lead to meaningful change.
