I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and hold credentials as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in the field a little over 10 years and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns; including depression, anxiety, identity formation, crisis management, addiction, and life transitions. My counseling style is very person-first and engaging. I believe in incorporating different therapeutic techniques in order to meet you exactly where you are during each interaction. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused techniques. My goal is to have you feel comfortable and help guide you to develop healthy skills that encourage empowerment and self-discovery. Outside of my career, I am an animal lover that enjoys traveling. I enjoy being physically active and believe the best gifts are those you can experience! I am a fan of all Italian food and find comfort relaxing while watching a good movie or reading a thrilling book. I strongly advocate the concept of self-care and overall life balance. I understand how vulnerable and overwhelming it can feel to seek counseling and I appreciate the courage my clients display by doing so. I hope to support and provide encouragement as we begin this process together. I believe that every individual has the ability to overcome struggles and learn how to highlight their strengths that they may not even be aware they have! I look forward to working with you! "You're Braver than you believe. Stronger than you seem. and Smarter than you think." - A.A. Milne
Our clinicians are trained in a variety of modalities. This allows us to tailor our approach to the needs of our clients. We all believe that the therapeutic relationship is paramount to the therapy experience and strive to provide a supportive environment to explore past experiences and address issues in the present.
The desire to know and to be known is a normal human experience. I value the trauma-informed safety and client-centered connection we collaboratively create through a systematic lens. I am particularly sensitive to diversity in culture and self-identity, including with respect to race, gender and sexuality. I believe the importance of affirming the unique individual experience with cultural humility. Through compassion, sensitivity, and empowerment, we will work together respectfully to acknowledge vulnerability, unearth patterns, attend complexity, and gain ownership change to achieve the most authentic and expansive self. I have experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, substance use, life transition challenges, self-esteem, relationship issues including intimate partner violence, and immigration matter. I approach this work holistically with warmth, empathy, and ever developing curiosity. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first step towards change. It takes intentions to create the time and space to understand and explore ways to navigate the situation we are in. If you would like to explore what that looks like, I am here to support and empower you.

Hope, healing, and joy. For me, these are the three core values I hold closely when approaching my work in therapy. Life can be full of unpredictable challenges and facing them alone can feel extremely heavy and burdensome. My hope is that through therapy, clients can feel comfortable enough to share their hardships, and in doing so, lighten the heaviness of their burdens. Through a warm, person-centered approach, I hope to create a space where individuals feel heard and supported. I believe no one deserves to struggle alone, and I commit to being a supportive presence to help individuals work towards a path of healing and joy. As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to help individuals feel empowered to live a fulfilling life in alignment with their goals and values. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and adjustment difficulties. I also love helping people work through identity exploration and self-discovery. If these challenges resonate with you, I would be honored to work together on a path forward that feels supportive and impactful for you!
I am a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience on staff in college counseling centers and in private practice. I work to form a trusting relationship with students so that they have a safe space to work through the challenges they are facing. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am especially focused on providing inclusive, affirming care for students whose identities may not be represented or supported as well as they could be in the available campus resources - whether that be by virtue of sexuality and gender, or other facets of life experience. If you are feeling stuck academically or socially, struggling with mood or anxiety, trying to figure out who you are and your place at school and at home - I am here to help you find your way through it.
Hey, I’m Laura Fidorowicz. I work with college students who are used to holding it all together—but underneath are dealing with anxiety, burnout, depression, or using substances more than they’d like to cope. A lot of the people I work with are high-achieving and hard on themselves. You might look like you’ve got everything handled, but inside it feels like constant pressure, overthinking, or never quite feeling “good enough.” Maybe you’ve started relying on alcohol or other substances to take the edge off, check out, or just get through the week. My style is real, collaborative, and practical. I’m not here to judge you or lecture you—and I’m definitely not just going to sit quietly while you talk. We’ll actually dig into what’s going on and build tools you can use in real life, whether that’s managing anxiety, breaking perfectionism cycles, or changing your relationship with substances. You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to get support. If something feels off, that’s enough. If you’re ready for a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and start making real changes, I’d love to work with you.
I offer a modern, relational approach to therapy designed for how people actually live today. As a licensed clinical social worker, EMDR-Certified therapist, and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I provide fully virtual therapy with flexible video and text-based support beyond the traditional session. My style is unconventional and integrative, grounded in meaningful connection. Together, we explore your inner world, understand patterns, and build a more grounded sense of self. This is your space—collaborative, flexible, and tailored to you. I integrate trauma-informed, relational, and somatic approaches to support identity, relationships, life transitions, and substance use. I’ve worked with individuals across diverse cultures, identities, and backgrounds. Therapy is available in English and Spanish. Licensed in FL, PA, and VT. Reach out to get started. In addition to clinical work, I collaborate with organizations and lead nature-based digital detox retreats in Northern Colombia’s Sierra Nevada. These immersive experiences integrate therapeutic insight, nervous system regulation, and relational work to foster meaningful connection and lasting change. I also develop CEU-approved educational content.
The Counseling Corner is a group of dedicated clinicians who take pride in providing quality mental health care. As a mental health practice, we assist members by providing therapy to a wide array of people who are in pursuit of happiness. Our team is comprised of exceptional clinicians with a variety of specialties to ensure we give you the best support possible. From our founder: I wanted to take a moment to share something deeply personal and meaningful to me. At 23, I faced an unimaginable loss when I lost my mother to alcohol addiction. It was a painful journey that led me to struggle with my own mental health for nearly a decade. During that time, I often searched for a purpose and a way to turn my pain into something positive. Today, I’m proud to announce that I’ve opened this mental health practice. We are building a team of incredible clinicians, each of whom shares a commitment to help others navigate difficult times and find hope and healing. Our goal is to create a safe space where people can feel understood, supported, and empowered on their journey to wellness. We’re here to save lives and help individuals reclaim their strength. Are you new to therapy, have you tried it before without finding the right fit, or perhaps you are looking for a new approach? My name is Gus Culbertson (he/him/his) and I am a Clinical Social Worker. I started Balancing Perspectives Practice because I believe that when we take an intentional look at the perspectives we hold about ourselves and the world around us, and then make this into a practice, it can allow us to lean into our most authentic and balanced selves. I am here to support clients in finding a good-fit therapist. I have worked for a number of years to understand the unique challenges faced by young adults, medical and health science students & professionals, and front-line workers. I also work with individuals navigating life transitions, unhelpful self-expectations, procrastination, depression, anxiety, and identity struggles. Many of those I work with want to learn how to engage intentionally with the range of emotions, communicate effectively with others, decrease stress, incorporate mindful/spiritual practices, and explore differing perspectives. I am a firm believer in the power of the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change. My approach is tailored to each client and is rooted in a values-based, emotion-focused, and mindful practice. If you are ready to begin this journey, please contact me for a free consultation. I initially work with clients to outline their goals in care to see if we might be a good fit to work together in individual therapy. If we are, I look forward to working together to help you recognize your strengths, build resilience, and cultivate authenticity to find the fulfillment you deserve. If, for whatever reason we are not, I can support you in finding the right fit through my services as a Clinical Care Manager. This is of note if you would like assistance in finding a therapist who is in-network with your insurance.

Hello! I’m Ally (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe in using a holistic, person-centered approach that honors you as the expert of your own experiences. Navigating college life can be challenging, exciting and at times overwhelming. Whether you are adjusting to a new environment, exploring your identity, managing academic pressure, dealing with anxiety-- you are not alone. Therapy with me is collaborative, supportive, and respectful of your journey. You deserve a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to be yourself. I’m here to support you. Together we will work on building insight and developing healthy coping strategies. Using a blend of mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and solution-focused techniques, we’ll work together to find what resonates best for you and your unique situation.
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, or the impacts of trauma? Do you wish you could show up differently in your life and with those you love? As we try our best to adapt to the world around us, we can sometimes develop patterns that are unhelpful or that no longer serve us in our current circumstances, which can lead us to feel stuck. I will work alongside you to build insight, foster self-compassion, and help you to identify your own internal resources for healing.
As an art therapist, I offer a space where creativity becomes a path to healing, self-understanding, and empowerment. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, those healing from trauma, and folks who identify as neurodivergent. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, you're welcome here—exactly as you are. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in the belief that self-expression can be a powerful tool for insight and growth. You don’t need to consider yourself an artist to benefit from art therapy. Together, we use creative processes—drawing, painting, or exploring imagery—as a way to access what words alone may not fully capture. I know that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. I aim to co-create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported in moving at your own pace. My hope is that this work helps you reconnect with your inner voice and build emotional resilience. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings warmth and creativity, I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey.
