You may be functioning well on the outside while quietly feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted inside. Therapy can be a place to slow down, exhale, and begin to understand what’s really driving those patterns. I offer in-person and virtual sessions in a calm, inviting office where you can speak openly and feel genuinely heard. My style is relaxed and relational, and our work is intentional. We’ll start with what feels most present for you, and then gently move toward the deeper roots. Clients often share that they appreciate both the warmth of our conversations and the clarity that comes from having specific tools to navigate their challenges. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, the impacts of trauma, relationship concerns, or an eating disorder, our work together will be thoughtful, focused, and tailored to you. If you're looking for therapy that balances emotional depth with practical tools, I'm happy to connect and see if we're a good fit.

I'm Zack, a clinical therapist specializing in evidence-based treatment for children, teens, and adults with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders: social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic attacks, specific phobias (fear of heights, flying, animals, etc.), body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs): hair pulling, skin picking, nail/lip/cheek biting, & attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I earned my master's degree in social work from Widener University and my bachelor's degree in psychology from Pennsylvania State University. Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with family, golfing, playing video games, and following my favorite sports teams. Over the past decade, I’ve worked within various healthcare systems, specializing in OCD, anxiety-related conditions, BFRBs, ADHD, and depression. I am certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) through The Beck Institute, a rigorous process involving many hours of training and consultation with clinical psychologists specializing in CBT. I am certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and have received extensive training and consultation through the University of Pennsylvania Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA). I am a member of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF). I have also received specialized training in Comprehensive Behavioral (ComB) Treatment, Habit Reversal Training (HRT), & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have held leadership roles including Director, Manager, and Supervisor of Behavioral Health across multiple healthcare systems. These experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of workplace stress and burnout, making me especially attuned to the needs of professionals navigating high-demand environments. In addition to my private practice, I work as a Behavioral Health Clinician in the Emergency Room at Main Line Health System, providing psychiatric crisis assessments and support to individuals and families during some of their most vulnerable moments. I also teach CBT to physician residents within the Psychiatry Program, sharing evidence-based strategies to support mental health care in various settings.
I am a warm, nonjudgmental, trauma-informed psychologist who is passionate about working with those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder, relationship issues, grief, depression, anxiety, substance use, and body image/disordered eating issues. I offer in-person sessions in Pennsylvania and virtual sessions in both Pennsylvania and 41 other states through PsyPact. Please see my website for a full profile.
Kristen is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor working her way toward independent licensure. She enjoys working with individuals ages 6 to 60 across an array of mental health diagnoses and areas of concern, whether in individual or family contexts. She adopts an integrated approach to her therapeutic style, pulling from several evidenced-based models of counseling, largely utilizing elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and its derivatives as well as Psychodynamic and Humanistic theoretical models. Through this, she recognizes the need for and ensures that each client and/or family has a tailored plan to address their concerns and achieve their goals. Kristen is also motivated to specialize further in trauma-focused care, especially for individuals struggling to cope with grief, ADHD, and Autism. In her free time, she loves engaging creatively by painting, drawing, and making jewelry; and spending time with friends and loved ones including her cat Monroe.

Life burning down around you? Cool, grab a seat. Cry, laugh, drop a few F-bombs. You’re safe here. Welcome to therapy! I’m a therapist, a professor, and a real human who’s lived through real things. I don’t do this work from a distance. I’ve moved through anxiety and depression. I’ve grieved the loss of people I love. I’ve gone through divorce. I’m raising a child with special needs… and all of that shapes how I show up for you. In my therapy space, we slow down. We breathe. We talk honestly. We laugh sometimes. We grieve sometimes. And we make room for the parts of you that you’ve had to hide to survive. Therapy should reflect your inner world and the world you live in, so I bring a progressive, social justice-rooted perspective to my work. I see you as a whole person through a bio-psycho-social-cultural-spiritual lens. I am fat-positive, sex-positive, kink-friendly, and identity-affirming. I am client-centered and strengths-based. Going to therapy can be scary. You’re pouring your life out to someone you don’t know. You’re sharing things you’ve never said out loud. That takes vulnerability. Folks trust me to hold some of the most complicated parts of their lives. It’s an honor, and I want to be a good vessel for that, someone who holds your story with care and compassion, and without judgment. I believe everyone should have access to affordable health and mental health care, so don't let the price deter you. Contact me to discuss our sliding scale. I also offer a no-pressure, first session to make sure it is a good fit!
I help individuals struggling to have power over themselves and their decisions. I also help couples and families who are struggling to maintain trust and connection in their relationships. Sometimes we feel stuck in a vicious cycle or pattern of behaviors that we need extra help interrupting. I help empower clients to help themselves, break the cycle and create a new pattern on their own terms.
Do you experience racing thoughts, anxiety or depression? Are you feeling lonely, overwhelmed or unfulfilled? I have 22 years of experience helping students better manage stress, panic, relationship concerns, addiction, test anxiety and more. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-based approaches, we will work to unlock your inner self-compassion and reconnect with the person you value inside.
I help high-functioning individuals who learned to prioritize others' needs reconnect with themselves and understand their emotional patterns, relationships, and values more deeply. Many feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, even if they don't fully understand why. Clients come to me seeking deeper self-understanding, more secure relationships, and a stronger sense of safety—both within themselves and in connection to others. You may find that past relationships and life experiences continue to shape how you see yourself, navigate relationships, set boundaries, or respond to stress.

My office offers teletherapy play sessions with children and is also easily transformed into a space comfortable for adolescents, adults, and couples. My professional experience consists of working in a variety of settings including: in-home therapy, outpatient, and group practice. My clinical areas of specialty include: anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma. I utilize a broad range of evidence-based modalities to help assist clients through their journey to mental wellness. These treatment modalities include: person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), child development, and play therapy. I believe therapy is a highly individualized and a personal experience. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and couples. I offer phone coaching in between sessions. Have you been struggling to understand your emotions, cope with changes or reduce depression, anxiety or guilt? Through encouragement and empowerment, we will work to reduce and heal the challenges you face. Having supported a wide variety of clients, I am passionate about working with both men and women to find and maintain freedom from their eating and co-occurring disorders by gently confronting barriers, building on strengths and challenging unhelpful relational and thought patterns. It is never too late to seek help and make change. Together we will help you not only cope with, but recovery from, your eating disorder, understand your emotions, reconnect with your values, and meet the goals you create for yourself. I've worked in various levels of care from inpatient to PHP eating disorder and general mental health programs. No feeling or problem is too big for us to face together. I am also offering clinical supervision to prelicensed professionals in PA and Washington DC who are in, or looking to work in, the eating disorder field. Because I started my career in DC, I have experience supporting those in various government agencies and branches of military.
Grief comes in many forms. We can grieve the loss of a person, a relationship, a community, a job, or an identity. Grief is a natural response to all kinds of loss - changing relationships, going to a new school, moving to a new city, or feeling really worried about the state of the world. We can also grieve the loss of a vision or expectation for the future. Many are struggling with the state of the world while also managing their own stress, anxiety, and sadness. This can feel overwhelming and isolating. The emotions of grief often feel uncomfortable, so we can feel tempted to skip over them and try to move to the next phase. But unprocessed emotions cause us a lot more trouble. You can find meaning and balance in your life, even when the demands feel overwhelming. I will process with you and support you when changes are needed for better coping. I understand that times are tough, and you might feel helpless right now. Let’s work together to help you live and work more effectively. Therapy will help you talk through your struggles, remember your strengths, and develop strategies to cope with life changes, grief, loss, and anxiety. You really can feel better, and you don't have to do this alone.
Finding your footing in college isn't always easy, especially when relationships, identity, family and friendship dynamics, or mental health start to feel overwhelming. At Praxis Relationship Therapy, I work with college and graduate students, and young adults who want to better understand themselves and build healthier, more secure relationships. I specialize in relationship concerns (dating, breakups, communication, intimacy), adult child-parent relationship dynamics including adult children of emotionally immature parents, adult ADHD, and major life transitions like adjusting to college or navigating independence. Whether you're feeling stuck in patterns, struggling to connect, ot trying to make sense of your emotions and thoughts, therapy can be a space to slow down and figure things out, with support and structure. As a Turkish-American therapist who came to the U.S. as an international student in 2016, I deeply understand the challenges of cultural adjustment, identity, and belonging. I offer therapy in both English and Turkish, and strive to create an inclusive, culturally responsive space where all backgrounds and identities are welcomed and respected. My approach is collaborative, practical, and grounded in research. At Praxis Relationship Therapy, we don't just talk about your relationships, we work on them!
If you're feeling overwhelmed by college life, you’re not alone. As a psychologist with experience working specifically with college students, I specialize in helping you navigate the stress, anxiety, and challenges that come with academic pressures, social dynamics, and personal growth. Whether you're struggling to adjust, manage workload stress, or facing feelings of anxiety or depression, I’m here to help you build resilience and find balance. Together, we’ll explore strategies to support your mental health and well-being—so you can thrive during your college years and beyond. I have an office in Ft. Washington, PA and I'm a member of PsyPact, so if you are local we can meet in person or can meet virtually if your college is in one of the PsyPact states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.)
Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or not like yourself. You might notice overthinking, anxiety, low motivation, or feeling easily triggered, even when you’re trying your best to keep up with school and life. Sometimes these patterns are connected to past experiences that haven’t been fully processed. I specialize in working with college students using EMDR, mindfulness, and creative approaches to help you move through stress and unresolved experiences in a deeper, more lasting way. Rather than just managing symptoms, we’ll work together to understand what’s underneath them and help your mind and body process what’s been holding you back. My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Therapy is active and supportive, helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and better able to navigate school, relationships, and daily life with greater ease and confidence.
